Spruce Up Your Computer Background

I might be alone in this, but being surrounded by beautiful, mysterious and artisitc images just makes me happy. I often think of how I can spruce up my workday and I’ve found that, like a new pair of shoes or a haircut can instantly change my mood, changing the background on my computer screen can really brighten my day.

Currently, my computer’s background is of the Charles Bridge in Prague on a foggy day.  I've found some amazing images on National Geographic’s website.  They even have a special section just for computer backgrounds (click here). Over the past few months...

I've alternated between pictures of the sunrise in Venice, to the zoomed-in image of water droplets on a leaf, to images of galaxies in outer space. Trust me, choose an image that speaks to you and your mood will be instantly lifted.
